Welcome again to “TBN”. We are an open-collaborative business networking organization. We have guidelines that are not created to hinder a member’s growth but quite the opposite. It’s been our experience that knowledge is power. The more you know, the more dangerous you can be.
Our culture is a cooperative one. We have worked very hard to create a culture in which our members help each other. We would like to continue this culture with each new member so here are a few tips to help you blend right in:
- Include others – it’s so important to include others. If you’re with a circle of friends and you see someone walk up but still outside the circle, step back so you can include them.
- Zero clique tolerance – there are enough cliques in the world. This organization is a safe haven from them. If you see one, bust it!
- Invite others – you don’t always have to go by yourself somewhere or do anything by yourself for that matter…invite others to join you!
- Make a friend – that’s how you network and increase your referrals. Schedule and go on as many 1:1s as possible. Why? Because you need to make friends. Don’t you take time to spend with your prospects prior to making them your clients? Of course you do. Why wouldn’t you make friends with those you want to refer you first? (more on this in the Best Practices section)
